5:13 PM christmasy mood

designed and decorated my church basement stage for 12 hours straight today.long as it may seem,it was truly worth it simply cos the finishing touch made me smile.

in words defined as:

the spread of maroon drop, classic christmas tree embellished with gold sparkling spirals concealing shiny presents of all sizes,a fireplace with no flames and roasting chestnuts as yet and a mistletoe on the rosewood door.old brick walls with that tinge of earth copper red.dangling gold ribbons and hanging tiny teddybears wrapped in green and red scarfs.ceiling studded by a curtain of miniature crimson red christmas lights.topfloor windows awaiting for some snow spray to give it the feel of season greetings.

the warmth and love, im so glad the finale captures that spirit of christmas (:

behind it all:
the brick wall's in actual fact mahjong paper lined on the original white wall with masking tape and then sprayed with spray paint black, red oxide and red scarlet.almost died of chemical poisoning spraying the entire wall.haha.the front bricks were A4 paper boxes and most of the presents are empty boxes in pretty wrappers.this is what happened when we're low on budget.haha.

the decorated christmas stage.finale.

close up christmas tree with scattered gifts.

topfloor window, bricks holding on to gold ribbons and teddies.

felt so accomplished after everything/nineteen of 24 hours.

ps:thanks matt, han and bro for the help todayy!

it doesnt ask why
it speaks from the heart
and never explains
it doesn't think twice
it can come all at once
or whisper from a distance
